21, 15, 9 burpees and thrusters. For time.
I've decided that the first set of burpees will be the big win. Once I get through those, it will all be good.

Oh Howard. That's what I thought until I was on my 15-rep set...and I hated every single rep. Haha. Definitely a mental workout!
This was one of those WODs that is pure hell, in a good way. As you say, it required some serious mental fortitude.
I used my Fran weight (75lbs) for the thrusters and used my WGP for dealing with my burpee phobia (slow and steady pace, slow down but don’t stop).
Total time: 10:28
Finishing this WOD in under 10 minutes would have been a sick win, but 10:28 definitely still counts as a win for me.
Admittedly, I was the last person to finish this WOD last night…but Chase, Tyler and the rest of the crew made me feel like I was contending for a gold medal in Beijing.
I’ve been in a really good mood since last night.
Awesome job, and that's a lot of freaking weight on the thrusters!! I'm glad you finished, and you really didn't have much time left over after the cut-off, so pat yourself on the back! :) I'm glad you've been feeling great after last night! I did, too, despite feeling like shit during it. Haha, isn't that always how it is? See you tomorrow!
